Natural Allergy Testing and Treatment

Sue Taylor has been working with clients since 2004, and gains great satisfaction in seeing her clients grow, heal and improve their quality of life.

Her passion is discovering the underlying root causes of her clients ' health concerns and then providing treatment and support to resolve those causes.

Using a combination of Natural Allergy Therapy and Energy Healing, she facilitates her clients' journeys to health.

Sue Taylor's Journey

Sue has a long-time, deep curiosity about health, healing, the spiritual world, the natural world and all aspects of nature.

Having parents in the medical field, she was exposed to healthcare from the day she was born. She also soon came to realize that Western medicine did not have all the answers.

She completed a degree in Environmental Sciences before becoming a front-line police officer in the Royal Parks in London, England.

Her varied experience taught her a lot about life. Sixteen years patrolling Central London included duties such as policing SpeSpeaker'srner, marches, rallies, and concerts in Hyde Park, Beating the Retreat and Trooping the Colour, and daily Guard Change at Buckingham Palace.

She taught self-defence for several years and spent 6 years on mounted horse patrol.

In 1994, Sue Taylor discovered the Japanese martial art of Aikido. During her 24 years of practice, she achieved a 4th-degree black belt and established a successful club in the UK, which continues today.

The Aikido philosophy of not meeting force with force, but in blending/harmonizing, moving with an attack and remaining calm, grounded, centred and relaxed resonated with her.

She finds that life becomes simpler and easier for everyone when this philosophy is translated into everyday life.

Beyond Western Medicine

In 2001, Sue started having a series of health issues, including extreme fatigue, sinusitis, digestive upset, palpitations and then panic attacks.

Her family doctor provided no answers beyond a diagnosis of Irritable Bowel and low thyroid (hypothyroidism). When asked what causes it, he said, “It could be anything... "and gave her meds. Not very helpful…

Following a friend's advice, she sought an allergy test, removed some identified food allergens, and her symptoms significantly improved.

Allergy Therapy

In 2003, she met her future husband, who introduced her to NAET allergy treatment.

The effectiveness of this treatment, and the fact that it eliminated her reactions to her food allergies, led her to pursue training.

She attended the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London, qualifying in 2004.

She has been practicing as a Natural Allergist since then. Ongoing education includes Applied Kinesiology, Nutrition, and following various Functional Medicine Doctors.

Life Changing

Sue Taylor's wake-up call came in 2005 when, at the age of 38, she was diagnosed with breast cancer requiring surgery and some additional treatment.

This experience brought her up short, prompting her to re-evaluate herself and her life. This was not something to be met with fear or anger, not a battle or a war to be fought and won; it was a life-changing experience.

It was an excellent learning opportunity, a gift to be met with thanks, gratitude and an open mind as to what she could learn.

She will tell you that this is a gift, the best thing that has ever happened to her!

And so her inner work began.

Sue Taylor and Energy Healing

Life led Sue to move to Ottawa in 2009, where her intense curiosity about the spiritual world and energy medicine was met.

Soon after arriving in Ottawa, she met her mentor, a Shaman and Teacher of Eastern Tantra. He opened the door to a whole new world. She continues to see him regularly for her own healing and for her learning.

Continuously seeking to learn and to grow, Sue has studied various energy modalities, achieved Reiki Level 3 and spent time with a First Nations Elder and Healer.

She continues with her own inner journey and works to improve her energy with energy medicine.

Sue Taylor at Home

Sue lives in the country with her husband and their rescue cats. She is happiest outdoors, enjoying activities like walking, skiing, and spending time with her horses, Kenzie and Dragoon, as well as cooking and socializing with friends.
