Rachel Ward
NAET practitioner
Rachel Ward is a NAET practitioner qualified to Advanced 1 level and is a Nutritional Therapist qualified with a Diploma from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and foundation degree from Bedfordshire University. She is finishing the final year of a 3 year Nutritional Therapy Diploma / foundation degree with the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and Bedfordshire University.

She is a member of BANT (British Association of Nutritional Therapists) a professional body which ensures that all registered therapists must have been trained to a high standard in both the science of nutrition and clinical practice as well as adhering to a strict code of ethics.

Her knowledge of nutrition allows her to bring an understanding of any underlying metabolic and nutritional problems that clients may have and allows her to provide advice on alternative foods, helpful nutritional supplements or possible biological tests.

Rachel is a mother of 2 children, a girl and a boy.  Her son suffered from severe multiple allergies, chemical sensitivities, asthma, eczema, and epilepsy, so she understands the anxiety attached to parenting children with health problems.  When her son’s allergies were at their worst his diet was very restricted to keep him well.  She had to learn how to cook a range of gluten, dairy and egg-free foods including bread, cakes, biscuits etc.

Through a combination of Nutritional Therapy and NAET her son is now much improved and able to eat a much wider range of foods, which he is very happy about.  His general health is also much better and he is beginning to really grow.

Rachel has had first hand experience of NAET having had many treatments to treat her numerous food intolerances that occurred as a result of chronic fatigue which she had 5 years ago.

Having recovered she is now keen to treat others so that they can improve their health by being able to include a wide range of foods into their diets rather than continually restricting what they eat.

She has a particular interest in allergies having experienced first hand how debilitating and restrictive life can be with allergies, especially for children and also how food sensitivities can affect behaviour and mood in both adults and children.

She has had success in treating people with a wide range of health conditions including M.E, gastro-intestinal problems, immune problems, nerve problems, children with behavioural problems, food allergies / intolerances and chemical and environmental sensitivities.

Rachel very much looks forward to helping you at the clinic in Raynes Park
