“Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food” Hippocrates 460-359 BC.
Nutritional therapy is about understanding the relationship between food and health for each individual and can be used alongside conventional treatments.
It is the use of food and supplements to encourage the body's natural healing, optimise health and energy and help with disease prevention.
This is brought about by ensuring that the body receives the correct nutrients to correct any deficiencies in order to help maximise the immune system, encourage detoxification and improve digestion.

Food is a major determinant of health that is directly under our control. We cannot always control pollution, hereditary factors, noise, environment, and the social and emotional behaviours of others, but we can certainly choose what and what not to eat.
Although we should be able to obtain all of our nutrient requirements through a sensible balanced diet, this is often not the case due to the foods we choose which are often heavily processed and full of food additives and also our increased nutrient demands the result of our busy and stressful lifestyles.
What should you expect?
You will be treated individually and provided with a personalised programme of diet and supplementation, tailored to your health goals, needs and lifestyle and aimed at improving your health
A one to one confidential consultation lasting one hour, where a detailed medical history is taken along with information about your current health problems, family history, diet and lifestyle.
The aim of the consultation is to provide you with a better understanding of your health and the changes necessary to improve your underlying biochemistry and to gain improvements in your health or condition. Individual, achievable and practical dietary and lifestyle advice is given along with a supplement programme if necessary.
Tests may be recommended should further information be required to help with the assessment of the condition and subsequent treatment plan.
Laboratory tests can include (hair, urine, blood and stool)
Allergy testing can also be conducted using Applied Kinesiology
A further ½ hour follow up consultation/s will assess the progress of your treatment programme and review the results of any tests taken and make any modifications to your programme.
Why choose nutritional therapy?
